Materials & Alloys — What This Factory Actually Runs

Materials · Evidenced Grades

Every material on this page is named in the manufacturer's own product range — ADC12, A380, 6061, 6063, SS303, SS304, ABS and PP. If a grade is not listed here, the range does not evidence it, and we say so.

A Materials Page Built on Evidence

Principle · Named Grades Only

Most factory websites publish impressive alloy menus copied from textbooks. This page works the other way: it lists only the grades the manufacturer's own products name. ADC12 and A380 appear in the die casting product titles. 6061 and 6063 appear in the heatsink and sheet metal fabrication products. SS303 and SS304 appear in the stainless machining product. ABS and PP appear in the injection parts product. That is the whole menu — and its shortness is its credibility.

The practical use for buyers is immediate: a drawing specifying one of these grades is specifying into evidenced production. A drawing specifying something else starts a conversation, not a silent substitution — the review will either confirm the grade can be handled or recommend the nearest evidenced alternative, in writing, before tooling.

The Grades in Their Processes

Map · Grade → Process

ADC12 is the general casting grade of the range, leading the flagship die casting part; A380 is its partner grade, prominent in the polished and lacquer-coated cosmetic castings. 6061 and 6063 serve the wrought side: extrusions (heatsinks, profiles, enclosures), sheet fabrication and stamped parts. SS303 and SS304 are the machining stainless grades, appearing in lock parts and spare parts where corrosion resistance and repeatability matter. ABS is the enclosure and case plastic; PP its flexible, economical companion.

One product can touch several rows of that map — an electronics assembly might combine an ADC12 housing, a 6063 heatsink, an SS304 fastener set and an ABS cover — and the factory's structure means the whole map is one supplier's home ground.

What This Page Does Not Publish

Honesty · Property Data

You will find no tensile strengths, hardness figures or elongation tables here, because the manufacturer's product data does not publish them and this site does not invent specifications. Material performance for a real programme is documented the proper way: through the material certificates and inspection records that accompany production orders. Buyers evaluating a critical application should request that documentation in the enquiry — it is the same discipline as the factory's certificates-upon-request policy for its ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications.

Engineering Notes — Working With This Factory

Process Notes

Programmes here share one skeleton whatever the process: a drawing review that routes each component to its best process, tooling where the process needs it, production under one quality system, finishing as specified, and CMM-backed inspection before release. Two habits keep programmes healthy. First, state volumes honestly — trial, first year, lifetime — because tooling and routing decisions hang on them, and a programme quoted on fantasy volumes is mispriced in both directions. Second, keep one channel for changes: drawing revisions sent with a note about what changed functionally let production re-plan operations and inspection in one pass.

Buyers transferring existing work should say so at enquiry. A proven part with tooling, a part needing new tooling, and a part being re-specified from a sample are three different projects with three different first steps, and the review will name which one you have before quoting anything.
