Aluminum Die Casting Parts

Parts · To Drawing

Every aluminum die casting part we ship starts as your drawing and ends as a checked, finished component — cast in ADC12 or A380, machined where the drawing demands it, and coated to specification.

What Counts as a Die Casting Part Here

Scope · Custom Parts

On this page, a part means a finished component — not a raw casting blank. The range evidences parts that combine casting with the operations around it: a custom ADC12/A380 die casting part, a precision high-pressure cast part, an A380 part polished and lacquer-coated. Buyers come to this page when their bill of materials lists a cast component that must arrive ready for the assembly line, with cosmetic or machined surfaces already to specification.

That scope is deliberate. Raw castings shift work — trimming, machining, finishing, inspection — onto the buyer. Finished parts concentrate it where the tooling knowledge sits: with the factory that designed the die and knows exactly where the part needs stock for machining and where it does not.

From Drawing to Finished Part

Route · 5 Steps

The route is fixed and simple. First, your drawing gets a DFM review against die casting practice — wall sections, draft, parting line, ejector placement. Second, the mould division builds or adapts the die. Third, castings run on automatic die casting machines in the specified alloy. Fourth, parts move to CNC machining and finishing for the faces, holes and coatings the drawing calls out. Fifth, inspection — including CMM dimensional checks — releases the batch for packing.

Each hand-off stays inside one factory, which is why a change request mid-project is practical here: the engineer quoting your revision can walk to the die shop and the machining shop in the same shift.

Specifying Parts That Quote Quickly

RFQ · Checklist

Quotes move fastest when the drawing package answers five questions: alloy (ADC12 or A380), annual and per-batch quantity, which faces are cosmetic, what finish and colour, and which dimensions are functionally critical. You do not need to answer all five perfectly — send what you have and the DFM review will flag what is missing. What we will not do is guess silently: any assumption inside a quotation is written on it, so the part you approve is the part that ships.

Engineering Notes — Die Casting Programmes

Process Notes

Programmes in this family share one production skeleton: die design and build in the in-house mould division, casting on automatic machines, then trimming, any CNC work the drawing calls for, finishing, and CMM-checked release. Two habits keep programmes healthy. First, freeze the cosmetic-face and critical-dimension lists at sampling — they drive handling and inspection for the life of the part, and changing them mid-programme re-opens settled questions. Second, treat the die as the asset it is: it is designed, built and maintained by the same team, and its condition is reviewed as production accumulates, which is how year three of a programme stays identical to the approved first article.

Buyers transferring an existing part to this factory should say so at enquiry. A part with existing tooling, a part needing new tooling, and a part being re-specified from a sample are three different projects with three different first steps, and the review will name which one you have before quoting anything.
